Error of the pocket:

All the same, whether the time on the dial one, indicating two or three minutes after the hour, announced the percussion principle, that it is three minutes after full.

Fault diagnosis: On Zählhebel the tip is broken off .

Operations

1. Step: the fitting- – and pin holes are drilled.

2. Step: the gross form is filed.

3. Step: Hardening and start the lever.

4. Step: Fits file, grind and cut the lever .

5. Step: Overhaul of the work, Installation and control .

Time ca. 30 to 40 Working hours .

Overhaul of a large clock with striking mechanism

To repair a large clock correctly, the work must be totally disassembled .

In almost all cases the pins are broken in , d.h. eaten; at the car you would say Kolbenfresser .

Similarly, the bearing has leaked . The result is, that the force of the spring does not reach the pendulum.

Remedy: The pegs are polished, or if they are too thin, replaced .

The bearings are centered and replaced . A pure replacement would result, would be that the wheels wrong and oppress .

The barrel bearings are centered and replaced .

The pallets are reground and polished .

The plant is cleaned, montiert ,geölt, greased and adjusted .

The plant is installed and checked into the housing .

Time ca. 6 to 8 Working hours .

Any other type of “Repair” would not be professionally .
